Prior to the LED lighting upgrade, ABB’s Selmer, TN location utilized aging lighting and lacked occupancy controls. The lighting system required an annual lighting operating cost of over $80,000. Inovis Energy was able to perform an energy audit and design a new system.
Inovis Energy and their partner Ellendale Electric Company installed over 1,800 LED fixtures in the facility and outside. The fixtures were connected to AVI-ON lighting controls, allowing even more savings through task tuning and scheduling.
The project resulted in annual savings of $43,885 and a $10,000 reduction in annual maintenance costs. The lighting produced brighter light levels improving the safety and effectiveness of warehouse pickers and workers.
