THE ASK

The Village of Spring Lake, in Spring Lake, Michigan has a growing need for EV charging stations. They worked with Roan and Black Inc to design and affordable solution that would bring DC fast charging to the Village. Due to the high cost of level 3 charging stations it was important to secure as much additional funding as possible through rebates and grants that helped buy down the out-of-pocket costs.

THE SOLUTION

Inovis Energy was able to design an affordable solution, selecting two dual-port stations by RED-E Charge, a Michigan-based company. Consumers Energy and PowerMIDrive were able to provide incentives for the project covering roughly 55% of the cost. The design, installation, and rebates were handled by Inovis Energy.
